About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and the private individual in Lithuania who runs Car Auction Data (“we”). Contact: admin@carauctiondata.com. By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older.
• Use an email address you control, and keep your password safe. One account per person.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The free service

During our launch promotion, verified accounts get two free reports, three price estimates and one car monitor start a day, with one monitor running at a time. We may change these limits or end the promotion. We will tell you before any change takes effect, and we will never start charging you without your agreement.

Dealer beta credits: credits we grant to dealer accounts have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold or transferred, and expire 30 days after they are granted. Credits for an action that fails are returned automatically; stopping a monitor early returns none. Unused credits end when the account is deleted. We may change credit prices or end the beta.

What our data is, and isn’t

• Reports show observed Copart and IAAI results from our data provider. The data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and it doesn’t cover every sale.
• Prices exclude buyer fees, taxes, transport, repairs, storage and other costs.
• Reports and estimates are not valuations, appraisals or advice. An estimate is a range with a tested hit rate, not a promise of what a car will sell for.
• Always check the car and the auction listing yourself before you bid.

How you may use it

You may use reports and estimates for your own personal decisions and for your own business, including as a dealer. You may not:

• resell reports or estimates, or offer them as part of another product or service;
• republish our data in bulk, or build a database from it;
• scrape the site, use automated tools, or create extra accounts to get around limits;
• test, probe or disrupt the site’s security without our written permission.

Other websites

We link to Copart, IAAI and other sites. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Copart, IAAI or any other auction company, and we are not responsible for their content or auctions. Copart and IAAI are trademarks of their respective owners.

Availability

We work to keep the service running, but it may sometimes be slow, unavailable or changed. We may add, change or remove features.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for bidding or buying decisions you make, or for losses caused by incomplete or inaccurate auction data. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Lithuanian or EU law, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

Ending your account

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing admin@carauctiondata.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top and email you about important changes before they take effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Lithuanian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
