Price by mileage

A smoothed trend line shows how the price drops as the miles go up.

Cleaner, completed sales

Only real results count, so unreliable records don’t skew the numbers.

Where does the data come from?

From completed US salvage auctions, through a data provider. Each report pulls the latest records at the moment you request it.

How far back does a report go?

The last six months, up to 500 sales. If a model sold more often than that, the report uses the newest 500, because recent sales are the best guide.

Is the data cleaned?

Yes. Duplicates, auctions that didn’t sell, and sales with no recorded price or impossible mileage, like a car listed at a million miles, are left out. Real results, including heavily damaged cars, stay in.

What does “on approval” mean?

The seller accepted the final bid after the auction ended. These are real prices, so the report counts them and also shows them apart from cars sold outright.

How many reports can I run?

A free account gets 2 reports a day, with no card needed. Dealer accounts use credits instead of daily limits. Every report is saved to your account, so you can come back to it.
